Synchronicity

Storytime! In 2018 I was hospitalized for my gallbladder. My nurse asked about my tattoo, I told her it was for my dad, who took his life in 2016. She showed me her memorial tattoo she had gotten for her young nephew (maybe 12 or 13 years old) who had also taken his own life. His name was Dominic.

We shared stories and I told her how I had my dad’s name added to one of these shirts and I showed her the picture of the back of the shirt with his name. She said she also added her nephews name to a shirt like it. We zoomed in, and her nephew’s name was DIRECTLY ABOVE MY DADS.

Needless to say, we cried, hugged, and she checked on me all night. I truly felt we were both put there in that exact hospital for a reason. Considering she didn’t even usually work in that hospital. She was filling in for someone that night ♥️

Never had anything like that happen to me. Will never forget her!
